Item description: * Elegant and long Austria / Austrian late Jugendstil ca. 1929 18 karat gold necklace with articulated floral / flower motifs and Art Deco influenced geometrical sections. Although this fantastic Art Nouveau necklace chain is not particularly signed by the Austrian Jugendstil movement Wiener Werkstatte, it has repousse crafted flower design sections that very much resemble the work of Dagobert Peche. The necklace is very long - about 1090mm (43") and weighs exactly 50 grams in 18 karat yellow gold. The piece is marked on many sections with Austrian elephant marks for 18K gold, as well as 750 mark. One of the sections has the year 1929 engraved. Scarce Art Nouveau / Austrian Jugendstil collector piece and one of the scarce Wiener Werkstatte attributed gold necklaces and jewels.
