Item description: * See scan - almost absolutely perfect condition. This is a very scarce Royal Serb / Serbian / Yugoslavian NAVY Marine fleet commander Admiral General bicorne cap / cocked hat. This is the type identical to the ones that were very popular in the Army during the Napoleon / Napoleonic era in France. This is an absolute rarity since there were no more than 5 or 6 General Admirals in the Serbian Royal Army throughout its military history. The hat was bought from an old estate 22 years ago and remained in a private collection for all that time until it was offered for sale through VicMart. The cap has an embroidered anchor, as well as embroidered gold plated Royalty King Alexander I cyphers / monograms on both ends of the cap. This is the same cap that the King had on his head while he got shot by a Croatian Ustasi terrorist in 1934. Absolutely scarce militaria / military uniform collector piece and one of the rarest Serbian uniforms and accessories. So far this is the only known such piece offered for sale.
